Kara Lawson named as new primary game analyst for Wizards broadcasts

CSN Mid-Atlantic is naming Kara Lawson as the new primary color analyst for Wizards TV broadcasts this season.

Lawson comes to Washington with plenty of experience under her belt. She’s been calling NBA games with ESPN since 2007, while also calling college basketball games for the network.

According to Dan Steinberg of the Washington Post, Lawson will still do some work with ESPN, which means we’ll occasionally see Buckhantz reunited with Phil Chenier for select broadcasts:

Lawson will continue to be part of ESPN’s NBA and college basketball coverage, meaning CSN will reunite Buckhantz and Chenier when those duties conflict with the Wizards schedule, likely during the NCAA tournament.
