John Wall Becomes 15th No. 1 Overall Pick to Score 50 in a Game

Washington Wizards point guard John Wall notched 52 points, eight assists, four rebounds and three steals in Tuesday's 124-116 loss to the Orlando Magic.

Wall's 51 points made him the 15th first overall modern NBA draft pick (since 1966) to score at least 50 points in a game, per Elias Sports Bureau (via ESPN). He was selected first in the 2010 NBA draft.

Allen Iverson owns the most 50-point outputs among the group of first overall picks, totaling 11. Right behind him with 10 each sit Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and LeBron James.
