The Atlanta Hawks are giving strong consideration to the addition of veteran sharpshooter Gary Neal to their roster, according to league sources.
Sources told ESPN.com that the Hawks worked Neal out this week to get a first-hand look at the 32-year-old guard and, barring a late snag, are expected to sign Neal to a 10-day contract in the coming days.
The Hawks would have to create a roster spot to make room for Neal, who is currently playing for the Texas Legends in the NBA Development League.
