HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. – The Washington State University women’s golf team is in first place after the second round of play at the Ron Moore Invitational, Saturday, at Highlands Ranch Golf Course.
After shooting even par in the second round, WSU (-3, 573) leads San Francisco (-1, 575) by two strokes, and Denver (E, 576) by three strokes.
With a two-round score of 140, junior Cherokee Kim is tied for fourth place, four strokes behind leader Stina Resen of Little Rock (-8, 136). Kim shot a second-round 73 (+1), highlighted by three birdies.
