SAN FRANCISCO – Senior , sophomore and sophomore of the Washington State swim team were named to the Pac-12 Conference All-Academic First Team, conference commissioner Larry Scott announced, Wednesday.
In total, 12 Cougar swimmers garnered academic honors from the conference, including two second team honors with seven receiving honorable mention. To be eligible for selection to the all-academic teams, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and participate in at least half of their team's scheduled regular season events.
Johnson was named to the all-academic first team with a 3.73 GPA for the third-consecutive season.
