SAN FRANCISCO – The Washington State men's golf team concluded the first round of The Goodwin, hosted by Stanford, carding 8-over 288 to end the first day of the tournament in a tie for 16th on the team leaderboard.
Junior Jaden Cantafio shot 1-over 71 to lead the way for the Cougars in the opening round of The Goodwin. The Tustin, California native collected a team-best four birdies during his first 18 holes of play at TPC Harding Park. Cantafio opens Friday's second round in a tie for 44th on the player leaderboard.
The Cougars ended the first round of The Goodwin at 8-over 288.
