The Washington State women’s 2019-2020 basketball season tips off tonight at 7:00 pm against Pepperdine at Beasley Coliseum. The game can be seen on the WSU live stream as the Cougars and second year head coach Kamie Ethridge are looking to turn things around after a disappointing season last year.
While this will be the regular season opener, this won’t be the Cougars first game in Beasley this season as they hosted the Beijing Normal University team on Halloween night in an exhibition match that saw the Cougars finish victorious 71-63.
This years Cougar team will be led by redshirt senior forward Borislava Hristova who was named to the All-Pac-12 first team and senior guard Chanelle Molina who was honorable mention All-Pac-12 last season
The Cougars are looking to get off to a hot start on their way to their first winning season since 2014-15 when they finished the season 17-15.
