Gatlin Grisso, a safety from Texas, verbally commits to Wazzu

Well, that’s one way to start the weekend. Gatlin Grisso, an athlete from Aubrey, Texas, announced on Twitter this afternoon that he has committed to Washington State.

Grisso is a two-star prospect according to 24/7 Sports and picked WSU over offers from Harvard, Louisiana-Monroe, UMass, Texas State, Southern Miss, Yale and several others.

As a junior, the 6-foot-1, 185-pounder played running back and safety for Aubrey, tallying 1,803 scrimmage yards and 28 touchdowns, though according to Cougfan.
