Former Cougar subject of new ESPN film

The latest documentary from ESPN films prominently features a former Cougar point guard. Donminic Ellison, who some Cougar fans will remember as a top recruit and starting point guard from the Kelvin Sampson/Kevin Eastman era, is one of the members of the California 1992 state champion Morningside high school in Inglewood. The documentary follows the starting five over the last 25 years as they pursue their dreams in basketball and adjust to life after the game. This was the high school’s only state championship and the street-ball style of play they used made them legends in Los Angeles.

Ellison played three seasons at WSU before transferring to New Mexico State for his senior season before playing professionally in Europe.
