CHICAGO – Washington State’s Ella Dederick has been invited to the U.S. Soccer Under-19 Women’s National Team Training Camp, the organization announced Tuesday.
“I’m excited to see Ella earn this invitation,” WSU Head Coach Todd Shulenberger said. “It’s a great honor for her and for the program we are building at Washington State.”
Dederick, a redshirt-freshman goalkeeper for the Cougars, was one of three goalkeepers named to the 26-player roster.
“We are extremely excited for this opportunity for Ella,” goalkeeper coach Jon Harvey said. “She is coming off of a tremendous season in the Pac-12 and has proven she belongs among the top young goalkeepers in the country.
