PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State continued its strong start to the spring campaign after defeating Montana, 7-0, Saturday morning at the Simmelink Tennis Courts at Hollingbery Fieldhouse. With the win the Cougars improve to 3-0 on the season.
WSU had little trouble capturing the opening doubles point. At No. 2 doubles and cruised to a 6-0 victory over Cat Orfanos and Milica Panic. and followed with the clinching double point after a 6-1 win over Hannah Sulz and Lidia Dukic at No. 1. The third doubles was stopped with WSU's and leading 5-3 against Nathalie Joanlanne and Stanzi Stuijt.
