NORFOLK, Va. – Washington State swimmers and each earned CSCAA Scholar All-America honorable mention, the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced Wednesday.
As a team, the Cougars also received Scholar All-America honors after posting a 3.33 team GPA during the spring semester. Teams must have at least a 3.0 team GPA during the semester in which their championship takes place.
Bursch posted a 3.70 GPA during the semester and earned "NCAA B" times in the 200 individual medley and 400 individual medley at the Pac-12 Championships, both were school records.
