It was a close battle until the end, but when the final whistle blew, the Packers were clearly better. The Redskins still have a lot of room for improvement. Saturday’s game was far easier to watch than the previous Thursday against the Ravens. But there’s still a long way to go.
The Redskins face off against the Bengals in week three. And in that matchup, they’ll look to refine the flaws that have glared brighter than a partial eclipse this preseason. Their offense has been stagnant, and their defense inconsistent.
In addition to that, the play calling has been subpar.
