Redskins Kicker Dustin Hopkins Named NFC Special Teams Player Of The Week

For the first time in his career, Redskins kicker Dustin Hopkins has been named NFC Special Teams Player of the Week after he converted on field goals against the Giants, including the game winner.

After hitting all five of his field goal attempts in Sunday’s 29-27 victory for the Washington Redskins, kicker Dustin Hopkins has been named NFC Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance against the New York Giants.

This is the first time Hopkins has received the award in his career and the first member of the Redskins to receive the honor for special teams since kicker Kai Forbath in Week 8 of the 2014 season.
