Quinton Dunbar, Redskins' resiliency lead big win over Giants

LANDOVER, Md. – The Washington Redskins needed more corner help this summer, thanks to a depleted roster. So they shifted undrafted rookie free agent receiver Quinton Dunbar to corner, hoping he could develop over the next year while adding depth in the summertime.

But that depth was tested and Dunbar was needed. He responded, symbolizing in many ways what the Redskins have done as a team. When you think they’re done, they win. When you think they’ve had too many injuries, they’ve found others to plug in and play. In Sunday’s 20-13 win over the New York Giants, Dunbar was plugged in because Chris Culliver was lost for the season.
