Taking a look at ways the Washington Redskins can increase their amount of cap space this offseason. As of now, they're approximately $10 million under the salary cap. They can add more cap space through cuts, retirements or restructures/extensions.

2016 cap hit: $10.2 million
Potential savings: $8 million
Why they might cut him: A better question is why they might do something with his cap number. As with some other players, I don’t view cutting him as a realistic option at this point.
