Kirk Cousins takes greater ownership of Redskins' offense

ASHBURN, Virginia -- It's not as if there was a visible change, with Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins suddenly barking out orders or acting much differently than he has in the past. Coaches and teammates have said he's taking more command in offseason workouts.

Cousins wasn't much different during the practice open to the media where he remained his exuberant, competitive self. However, Cousins said there is a difference knowing he's the man in charge.

He was the backup each of the past three offseasons to Robert Griffin III. But Griffin no longer is here and Cousins won the job in August.
