Keith Marshall sidelined at least three weeks; Josh Doctson makes progress

ASHBURN, Va. -- Washington Redskins running back Keith Marshall knows one thing: His left elbow is still in a lot of pain. But how long he’ll actually miss, and the impact on his future, remains a bit uncertain. For now, the Redskins say he’ll miss at least three weeks with a sprained left elbow.

Marshall had it wrapped Monday and said it’s still "pretty painful." He said he doesn’t have any range of motion with his elbow.

The Redskins now must decide how badly they want to keep him around. And if there’s a chance he’ll miss a lot more than three weeks they could place him on injured reserve.
