GLENDALE, ARIZONA — The Washington Redskins had a difficult time slowing down Arizona Cardinals running back David Johnson, who gained 39 yards on the Cardinals’ opening drive. The drive ended with Johnson punching it in from the goal line to take the early lead.

The Redskins immediately answered with a dud of an opening drive. Two straight false starts, and incomplete pass and a sack resulted in -11 total yards on the three and out.

After the first quarter, the Redskins trail the Cardinals 7-0.
