After combining for seven wins the past few seasons, making the playoffs seems like a bit of a stretch for the Washington Redskins in 2015. But it was also a stretch in 2012 and we saw what can happen when a team catches fire late in the season.
The catalyst for the Redskins 2012 playoff run was quarterback Robert Griffin III. He had one of the best rookies for a quarterback in NFL history and the team as a whole benefited greatly from that performance.
However, after two seasons mired with injuries and inconsistent play this season is one where RGIII has to improve as there’s a lot riding on it.
