Sammamish woman pleads guilty in crash through house that killed husband, son-in-law

A Sammamish woman who mixed wine and sleeping pills before she crashed her Jeep through her lakefront home, killing her husband and son-in-law last year, pleaded guilty Thursday to two counts vehicular homicide.

A Sammamish woman who mixed wine and sleeping pills before she crashed her Jeep through her lakefront home, killing her husband and son-in-law last year, pleaded guilty Thursday to two counts vehicular homicide.

In addition, Carol Fedigan, 69, pleaded guilty to one count each of vehicular assault, reckless endangerment and driving under the influence. The latter two counts are gross misdemeanors.

Prosecutors and the defense are jointly recommending she serve 73 months in prison and one year of home detention when she is sentenced.
