Redskins fall short to Jaguars 17-16 in preseason

The Washington Redskins came into this final preseason game with a chance go unbeaten but it wasn’t to be as the Jacksonville Jaguars took the lead in the fourth quarter on a 47 yard field goal by Jason Myers to edge past the Redskins for the win.

The Redskins opened the scoring in the first quarter with a 19 yards TD pass from Colt McCoy to Rashad Ross capping off a 7 play, 54 yard drive. The Jaguars then tied things up in the second quarter with a 2 play, 80 yard drive finished off by a 40 yard TD run from rookie Corey Grant.
