The Washington Redskins are examining every variable when it comes to improving their offensive line over 2014. They drafted Brandon Scherff with the number five pick with the thought that he would be their starting right tackle for the next ten years but instead of right tackle, could he end up at right guard?
I still think the plan is for Scherff to start the season at right tackle but the Redskins have been working him in at guard also. Before the draft, Scherff was thought by some to perhaps project as a better guard prospect than tackle and head coach Jay Gruden saying a move to guard is a possibility.
