By beating the Buffalo Bills in week 15 the Washington Redskins have put themselves in a position that no one expected them to be in when the season began. I expected them to win seven games and they have but not even I expected the Redskins to have a chance of winning the NFC East this season.
And yet that’s where they are. If the Redskins can go on the road in week 16 and defeat the division rival Philadelphia Eagles the Redskins will be NFC East champions for the first time since 2012. This would a huge development in a season that started in turmoil with some predicting the Redskins to be the worst team in the NFL.
