Washington Redskins running back Matt Jones made his displeasure known by staying away from the voluntary practices. He wants out of Washington, only because the Redskins want to move on from him.
Jones will attend the mandatory minicamp this week, but the question becomes: How long does he stick around? The Redskins expected him to show up all along; otherwise, he’d be fined.
Jones wants to be cut or traded and it’s hard to imagine the latter happening. Earlier this offseason, the Redskins told Jones he was not in their plans, especially after drafting Samaje Perine in the fourth round.
