Derrius Guice was one of the most popular Redskins rookies in the last few years. Washington picked him after he fell to the 2nd round and he immediately became a fan favorite. Throughout the offseason Guice interacted with fans, inviting them to movies, bowling alleys, and signing autographs wherever he went.
He was set to be a big part of the Redskins offense during his rookie year. That plan was quickly changed when Guice tore his ACL during his first preseason game against the Patriots on August 9th. He was hopeful after the game, but knew his season was over before it started.
