The Washington Capitals will take on the Philadelphia Flyers tonight in their first game since the trade deadline. The Caps didn’t do much of a shakeup but they did make a big splash by trading away Jakub Vrana and Richard Panik as well as this year’s first rounder and next year’s second rounder for Anthony Mantha.
They gave up a lot to acquire Mantha and he’ll have to prove himself and try to win the fans over after many of them were upset over the departure of Vrana.
