Up next in our Washington Capital season review series is defenseman Dmitry Orlov. After being sidelined with a broken wrist/surgery for the entire 2014-2015 season, the Capitals were looking to see how Orlov would respond.
After missing an entire season due to injury, there is always the question, “how will he perform?”. Coming into the 2015-2016 season, the situation for Dmirty Orlov would be no different.
2015-2016 Regular Season
Orlov responded with playing in all 82 regular season games, netting eight goals and 21 assists totaling 29 points, while maintaining a plus/minus rating of plus eight.
