Washington Capitals Outgun Tampa Bay Lightning 4-2

The Washington Capitals have now won four straight games as they beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 4-2. The Capitals jumped out to a 4-0 lead before allowing two garbage time goals to the Lightning. The Washington Capitals were especially dominant in the first two periods.

Ben Bishop had the night off for the Bolts. It was Andrei Vasilevski who was beaten by Alex Ovechkin on the power play while the contest was still just minutes old. The goal was created from a beautiful feed through the crease from Jason Chimera.
