Anyone who watched T.J. Oshie during warmups knew he was feeling it tonight, but most fans in the crowd had no idea that he was wearing a microphone for television.
“I forgot about it for the first period, but they had a mic up out there, so I told guys to keep everything PG,” Oshie said after the game, which the Capitals won 4-3 in overtime. Oshie had three assists.
“I was seeing the ice ok. Most of those guys were getting in position to score goals, really. V [Jakub Vrana] did a great job opening up.
