Opening Night is also the Rays Home Opener, where the Lowcountry welcomes in intra-state rival Greenville. The Swamp Rabbits and Stingrays will play 14 games out of the 72 game slate, the most of any opponent. Only the Atlanta Gladiators, with 11, are in double digits.
Four teams will make their maiden voyage to North Charleston next season: the Wichita Thunder, Colorado Eagles, Tulsa Oilers, and Manchester Monarchs. The Stingrays went through Tulsa and Wichita last season as part of a swing including a matchup with the ECHL-leading Missouri Mavericks.
Also for the first time, South Carolina will visit Manchester, Colorado, and the Rapid City Rush.
