Immediately after the 2017 NHL Expansion Draft, the offseason continues with the NHL Draft 2017. This year, it will be held at the United Center in Chicago, IL. It starts at 7:00 p.m. ET on Friday June 23.
Though the 2017 draft will not feature the incredible depth seen in the 2015 draft or 2016 draft, there’s still a lot of talent to be had. Trading up in this draft will reportedly be a bit expensive. One fun thing to watch should be the Vegas Golden Knights, who already have three first round picks. And they likely aren’t done wheeling and dealing, trying to acquire as many future assets as possible.
