The Caps certainly made yesterday’s game interesting. After being down by two with just about two minutes to play, they scored twice to force the game to overtime…where they proceeded to lose. It was an ugly game by the Caps and they were lucky to get any points from it, but for a team in such a rut, getting at least a point before the All-Star break was good for them.
The best news of the game was Alex Ovechkin scoring a goal – and at this point in the season, given how this season has gone, it could be argued that’s almost as important as wins.
