Madison Bowey returned to Hershey after being sent down from the Washington Capitals this past week for conditioning. Bowey is expected to return to the Capitals after two weeks with the Bears. He will probably join Washington as it pushes closer to the playoffs.
1st Period:
As far as scoring, there was nothing to talk about in the first period. Hershey did look good throughout the first, which was a nice change of pace for the team.
Hershey controlled most of the play at the other end. The only time Bridgeport could actually muster any offense was during their one and only power play when Colby Williams went into the sin bin for slashing.
