The Capitals and Penguins had a special guest in the stands at Verizon Center on Thursday. It was none other than former late night TV host David Letterman, and his beard.
It wasn’t clear who Letterman, who is from Indiana, was rooting for, but we assume it was the Capitals.
The most recent news we can find about Letterman is that his mother, who was frequently featured on his show, passed away earlier this month.
