Capitals vs. Avalanche Second Period Thread

Phew, that was a pleasant doozy! The Capitals were up 3-0 by the halfway point of the period and sure seemed determined to not start slow again tonight. Goals by Justin Williams, Alex Ovechkin and John Carlson did more than make up for a wide-open miss by Stanislav Galiev.

Jarome Iginla and Tom Wilson took "matching" roughing minors after Iginla acted like a total douche, and Nate Schmidt scored on the 4-on-4 to make it 4-0 Caps.
