Capitals Re-assign Chris Brown to Hershey

ARLINGTON, Va. – The Washington Capitals have re-assigned right wing Chris Brown to the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League (AHL), senior vice president and general manager Brian MacLellan announced today.

Brown, 24, appeared in one game with the Capitals this season and has registered three points (two goals, one assist) in 12 career games with Washington. The 6’2”, 215-pound right wing scored his first NHL goal on March 22, 2014 at San Jose and earned his first NHL assist on March 25, 2014 at Los Angeles. Brown has earned three points (two goals, one assist) in 23 career NHL games with Arizona and Washington.
