When Hunter Williams was in high school, recruiting services did not think much of him. In a world where seemingly every high school player has at least two stars, Hunter Williams had zero. This was despite the fact that Williams had a whopping 141 tackles as a high school junior, helped lead his team to a 14-1 record, and had a 4.66 GPA. Williams was high school teammates with current Demon Deacon offensive lineman, Dylan Intemann. Wake Forest's coaching staff noticed Williams' play while they were recruiting Intemann, and the jump he has made since has been remarkable.
