The VMI Keydets came to call and the Hokies were ready.Coach Buzz and the Virginia Tech men’s basketball team continued their recovery from the season’s opening loss by winning, 76-52. The first half was back and forth and neither team was able to completely take over.The Hokies eventually got out to a 22-13 lead, but in the last six minutes, of the first half, VMI had a solid press and the teams entered the break tied, 29-29. In the second half the Hokies did take over, capturing the lead two minutes in and never letting go.In the second half VT significantly improved their offensive output, scoring 47 points.
