Tech Sells Naming Rights for $5 Million

The next time you walk into Cassell Coliseum, you might notice something different. The floor will now be emblazoned with a VTC logo which stands for Virginia Tech Carilion. It is a symbol of the ongoing partnership between the school and the health care provider. Here is what the court will look like for the next ten seasons:

The move is not surprising, as most other NCAA teams have either chosen to monetize, or remember a former great on their home court.
