Well, after a prolonged period of quiet (seriously, the Hokies’ last 2018 commitment was back in November when Chamarri Conner committed), it looks like #ExitLight18 might light up a bit. A bit ago, Virginia Tech received a commitment from Nasir Peoples, a defensive back from Archbishop Wood in Pennsylvania. We were Peoples’ first offer- shortly followed by Pittsburgh, Rutgers, and Boston College. Peoples is currently rated as a three star prospect by Rivals, but is unranked by 247 and Scout and has no profile on ESPN. He’s the second (as far as we know, I’m unclear on where they want to stick Thompson, but I assume WR) defensive back commitment, and the Hokies’ potential first recruit from Pennsylvania since the class of 2014 (Shai McKenzie, Andrew Ford, and Eric Gallo).
