Women’s Soccer
The women of Virginia Tech have been busy over the last few weeks. Earlier this month they hosted the VT Women’s Soccer Tournament. The Hokies had a solid performance and easily dispatched Indiana University, 3-0, and Boston University, 3-0. VPI followed those two victories with a win over Longwood. VT’s four game winning streak game to an end when they visited the No. 4 Virginia Cavaliers. The Hoos defeated the Hokies, 0-2, handing the Gobbler’s their first shut out of the season. They then traveled to UNC where the No. 18 Tar Heels handily defeated Virginia Tech, 0-3.
