CLEMSON, S.C. – Virginia Tech’s Lisa Gunnison and Rachel Baxter won gold and silver, respectively, in the pole vault Saturday to headline the performances of the Hokies’ track and field teams on the second day of the ACC Indoor Track and Field Championships being held at the Clemson Indoor Track and Field Complex on the Tigers’ campus.
Gunnison, a freshman, won the event with a top vault of 4.35 meters (14 feet, 3.25 inches), while Baxter, also a freshman, came in second with a personal-best vault of 4.30 meters (14 feet, 1.
