The Virginia Tech Hokies are just over a week away from opening up fall camp ahead of the 2017-18 season. The players currently on the roster are preparing for the task at hand, while the coaching staff is focusing both on the upcoming season, as well as the future members of the Hokies.
On Thursday afternoon, the Hokies gained another one of those future member of their roster, as 2018 3-star cornerback Jermaine Waller committed to Virginia Tech. Waller, who is a 6’2″ 170 lbs. prospect from Bethesda, Maryland (The Avalon School) also held scholarship offers from Maryland, Connecticut, East Carolina, and NC State among others.
