Virginia Football Recruiting: Former North Carolina lineman Jared Cohen transfers to Virginia, eligible immediately

The McDonogh School product from Maryland started 13 games as a freshman at UNC

Bronco Mendenhall and the Virginia Cavaliers picked up a big commitment Wednesday, with former UNC Tarheel Jared Cohen announcing he was transferring to UVA.

Cohen played one year in Chapel Hill, starting 13 games for Larry Fedora in 2014. He left the team after just one season, and was granted his release by the university in October.
