With their win in the College World Series last month, the University of Virginia won the men's Capital One Cup for the 2014-15 academic year. On last night's ESPY Awards, they (along with the Stanford women's program) were formally presented with their award, and rightfully recognized for their outstanding achievement.
UVa football icon Chris Long (now with the St. Louis Rams) and recent tennis graduate Mitchell Frank, who secured the men's tennis title earlier in the spring and was named the Most Outstanding Player in the tournament, were on hand in Los Angeles and appeared on stage.
