UVa baseball coach Brian O'Connor has put to rest speculation that he will leave Charlottesville for the open job at Texas.
O'Connor took to Twitter on Sunday afternoon and affirmed his commitment to Charlottesville and the University.
O'Connor has been at UVa since 2004, leading the Cavaliers to the NCAA tournament every year. They've appeared in six Super Regionals and gone to the College World Series four times, winning it all last year in O'Connor's hometown of Omaha, Neb.
O'Connor earns a base salary of $225,000 in addition to other performance or equipment-based bonuses.
