The state of UVA football is so bleak that paying tribute to Dante’s Inferno with a “Abandon all hope, ye who enter here” sign outside of Scott Stadium feels appropriate. The ACC media echoed this sentiment, as they pegged the Cavaliers to finish last in the ACC Coastal, and decisively so. As difficult as it may be to be optimistic about UVA football, let’s take a look at some of the things that the team has going for it next season, and how they could possibly avoid finishing in the cellar of their division.
