Three observations from UVA football’s Spring Game

The Virginia Cavaliers held their annual Blue-White Spring Game on a picture-perfect Saturday afternoon inside Scott Stadium. The White team, coached by DC John Rudzinski, came away with a 17-10 over the Blue squad led by quarterbacks coach Taylor Lamb.

Here are three things that stood out from an afternoon of spring football in Charlottesville.

Don’t count out Tony Muskett in the QB battle

Tony Elliott has had veteran signal-caller Tony Muskett and freshman Anthony Colandrea splitting first-team reps in practice this spring, and as ready as many Virginia fans are to anoint Colandrea as QB1, Muskett showed on Saturday why this should be viewed as a legit competition.
