Somehow, it’s December. Where has the year gone? No matter, the Hoos picked up some wins, so let’s get to it.
Rapid Fire
-The Virginia Wrestling team picked up two wins this week with a 22-18 win over Gardner-Webb and 34-11 win over No. 24 Chattanooga. Against Gardner-Webb, the Hoos won six of 10 matches, and needed all the bonus points earned to secure the win. On the road against Chattanooga, Virginia dominated, winning bonus points in five of the first six matches. The Hoos are now 4-2 on the season and will face George Mason in Richmond on December 21.
